I called this office in December after a referral and was quoted nearly $400 for an evaluation and over $1,400 for a root canal. At the time, I wasn’t sure I wanted to proceed and said I would take time to consider my options. After continuing neck pain, I called back in January hoping to schedule sooner than my March appointment elsewhere. The front desk repeatedly referenced my prior decision not to schedule due to cost, even though price was no longer my concern. The tone felt dismissive and unnecessary, as if I was being penalized for wanting time to make an informed decision. The interaction left me feeling that my care would not be foremost and business was not wanted.

Wouldn’t reccomend this place to anyone, had two root canals done a couple months apart. A year later the pain is unbearable on both of them. I paid $3,500 between AFTER insurance. I went to my regular dentist and they did a 3d image and said neither of them healed properly and that there were big gaps under the tooth. I called great lakes and they wanted $400 for a 30 minute consultation. I tried to tell them that they already worked on the teeth but apparently they weren’t interested in standing behind their work.

TLDR: Dr. Yeung AMAZING; don’t let the poor customer service of his receptionist scary you away! The reason why I gave his office 4 stars is because his receptionist is AWFUL! I would rate her 0 stars! My dentist sent in the referral and told me to call Dr. Yeung’s office to schedule. So I did. The receptionist was soooooo rude and basically said “don’t call us we’ll call you.” So a few days later I received a text message that they have received my referral and to call to schedule, so I did. The same receptionist answered and was equally rude and put out that I was calling. I explained that I received a text and was asked to call and schedule. She scheduled the appointment and told me she’d run my insurance. I received a text with a quote and I thought it was high so I called. She informed me that my insurance doesn’t cover the full mouth x-ray and they are “already taking a hit on the negotiated price with my dental insurance…so basically take it or leave it.” 🤷🏻‍♀️ I kept the appointment because my dentist spoke VERY HIGHLY of Dr. Yeung. 🤞🏼 At the appointment she was equally as “pleasant” in person. 😑 Dr. Yeung and Linda 5 stars! They both were awesome! About a year earlier I

Although no one likes getting a root canal, Dr. Yeung and his staff were phenomenal! He was thorough but efficient and had a great beside manner. He made the experience the best it could possibly be. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Yeoung and the Great Lakes staff to anyone needing their services.

I was incredibly nervous about my much needed root canal, but Dr Yeung and Linda were so comforting and respectful about my nervousness. They talked me through each step and made sure I wasn't experiencing any pain. My tooth feels SO MUCH BETTER NOW! I should've done this a long time ago. Their office was very communicative and let me know my financial responsibility in advance, which was very helpful for my budgeting plan. I work in the dental field and HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! Great office, very clean, professional, and kind.
